Privacy Policy
Levot Pty Ltd • Effective date: 17 October 2026
1. Introduction
Levot Pty Ltd (“Levot”, “we”, “us” or “our”) provides a technology platform that connects customers who need goods transported with independent delivery drivers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information when you use our mobile applications, website and related services (together, the “Services”).
We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). By using the Services, you agree to the handling of your personal information as described in this policy.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all users of the Services, including customers who arrange freight and independent delivery drivers who carry it out. Where a specific interaction (for example, driver onboarding) is governed by additional terms, those terms apply together with this policy. This policy does not apply to third-party services that have their own privacy policies and that we do not control.
3. Information we collect
Information you provide to us
We collect information you give us directly, such as when you create or update an account, arrange a delivery, verify your phone number, contact support or otherwise communicate with us. This may include:
- Name, phone number and email address;
- Pickup and delivery locations and related delivery notes;
- Details about the goods to be transported (for example type, size and estimated volume);
- For drivers: vehicle details and information required to confirm eligibility to provide services;
- Payment-related details, which are collected and processed by our third-party payment providers; and
- Any other information you choose to provide.
Information we collect through your use of the Services
- Location information: With your permission, we collect location data from your device to enable pickup, drop-off, matching and delivery tracking. We may also derive approximate location from your IP address.
- Camera and measurement information: If you use camera-based cargo measurement, we process the imagery and derived measurements needed to estimate the volume and capacity of your goods and to produce a price. You control when the camera is used.
- Transaction information: Details of the deliveries you arrange or carry out, including service type, date and time, distance, price and status.
- Device and usage information: Device model, operating system, app version, identifiers, language, and information about how you interact with the Services.
- Communications: Records of messages and support interactions, and information needed to facilitate communication between customers and drivers for a delivery.
- Log information: Server logs such as IP address, access times, features used and diagnostic data including crashes.
Information from other sources
We may receive information from third parties, such as our payment providers, identity or verification services, and ratings or feedback provided by other users in connection with a delivery, and combine it with information we hold.
4. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, maintain and improve the Services, including instant pricing, matching, scheduling and delivery tracking;
- Verify accounts and phone numbers and confirm driver and vehicle eligibility;
- Calculate prices, including through camera-based volume and capacity estimation and dimensional-weight pricing;
- Facilitate communication and coordination between customers and drivers;
- Process payments through our payment providers and send receipts and service messages;
- Provide customer support and respond to enquiries;
- Maintain safety and security, prevent fraud and misuse, and troubleshoot problems; and
- Comply with legal obligations.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it:
- To enable a delivery: relevant details (such as name, pickup/drop-off and contact method) are shared between the customer and the assigned driver so the delivery can be carried out;
- With service providers: who perform functions on our behalf, such as hosting, mapping, payment processing, communications and analytics, under obligations of confidentiality;
- For legal reasons: where required or permitted by law, or to protect the rights, safety and property of Levot, our users or others; and
- In a business transfer: in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
6. Device permissions
The Levot apps may request permission to access certain device features — such as location, camera and notifications — to provide the Services. Your mobile operating system controls these permissions, and you can change them at any time in your device settings. Some features may not work properly if a permission is declined.
7. Storage & overseas handling
We take reasonable steps to store personal information securely. We and our service providers may store and process information in Australia and in other countries. Where information is handled overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is treated consistently with this policy and the APPs.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business or legal purposes, after which we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
10. Your rights & choices
Subject to the Privacy Act, you may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you. You can also manage certain information and permissions within the app and your device settings. To make a request, contact us using the details below. If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, you may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
11. Cookies
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
12. Children
The Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the effective date above. Where appropriate, we will provide additional notice.
